'Crystal Rock' is an expressionist, semi abstract medium size painting framed with a warm grey solid wood frame.
Textural and contemporary in it's style this painting in acrylic medium is full of painterly qualities depicting the formation of water and light on shimmering rock and stone in the shallow waters around the coastline. Using a palette of mainly burnt umber and ultramarine blue, the paint has been manipulated using complementary mediums to achieve the abstract and slightly impressionistic coastal scene.
The painting itself has been created on professional archival, primed board and mounted on 6mm thick MDF. The frame is made from solid wood and hand painted in warm grey with satin finish. All fixtures are in place and therefore is ready to hang in your home or office.
