A framed, original watercolour painting in semi abstract depicting buildings and achitecture from Moroccan influences. Painted in a contemporary style and full of deep colour tones and nuance. A series of artwork from the 'Cityscape Collection'.
A small but impactful interpretation of Moroccan cityscape with its stunning, vibrant architecture within the narrow streets of this ancient city. Full of rustic charm and atmosphere, I used tones of phthalo blue, green a hint of pink with a pop of red creating definition amoungst the complex structures of the buildings. Shadows and reflection create texture, tone and diversity throughout, a place which inspires creativity and imagination every time I visit.
The watercolour is painted on thick archival, professional, Bockingford paper. Mounted with white archival mount card giving the image a crisp clean contemporary finish and complementing the artwork beautifully.
Framed with deep solid wood frame which has a white, matt finish and displays a glass panel to the front and fixtures in place for hanging at the back. Collectively, mount, frame and artwork will add a sleek modern feel to many house or work interior settings adding focus and interest to small areas.
